Most common imperfections on your car-paint are the swirl marks. A swirl mark is a very thin and shallow scratch on the surface of your paint, that often comes from washing and drying improperly. These swirl marks are added to your paint every time you wash and dry your car using a single bucket and single towel. The dirt over your car gets trapped on the towel which is dipped inside the bucket of water however the agitation caused by the dipping process brings up the particulate matter up in the water and unknowingly you end up having the dirt particles settled on the towel again. It leads to further friction of the microparticles leading to the micro-scratched ultimately resulting in swirl marks. These swirl marks due to uneven surface of the clear coat result in to change in reflective properties leading to dull appearance of the paint.
In the double Bucket method two separate buckets are used. One for rinsing the microfiber towel/sponge and the other one is to soak it with the wash media. The Rinse and wash buckets have a grit guard placed at the bottom. Which minimises the agitation of water also it traps the dust and dirt particles in the lower section which keeps the towel/sponge dirt particle free. This automatically results in lesser swirl marks which keeps your paints reflective properties intact for longer time and your car sparkles as new for a greater number of years.

Polishing is the step in the detailing process that yields the most dramatic difference in your paint's appearance. The objective of polishing is to remove imperfections in the clear coat that cause the paint to look dull. Surface imperfections can include swirls, scratches, water spots, etchings, industrial fallout, oxidation, etc. These surface imperfections cause light to fragment instead of passing directly through the clear coat yielding less gloss and depth. When these imperfections are removed, you will reveal the true potential of your vehicle's paint. To eliminate these imperfections safely and permanently it is advised to polish the surface starting with a less aggressive to more aggressive polishes as needed. The chemical polishing agents and/or the polishing particles will safely remove the extremely fine imperfections.
We recommend only polishing as needed, which is typically around one to two times per year during a full detail. After a thorough multiple steps polishing process has been completed you can maintain the finish properly using the correct washing and drying products and techniques. Keeping the paint in good condition will ensure it needs less frequent polishing.
Carnauba waxes are a great way to protect your vehicle against the elements. It produces a hydrophobic layer which protects the paint surface from oxidative effect of humidity, water/rains etc. The Wax seals off minor imperfections, scratch marks, swirl marks efficiently resulting in even reflection of light. The surface shines better with wax polish. In India it is very important to prepare for heavy monsoons without worrying for rusting. Waxes often bead water better than sealants, which makes your vehicle easier to maintain. Using a neutral pH Car Wash shampoo is highly recommended for longevity of the protective layer of the wax.
